I have been developing websites and web applications for more than 20 years and, after lengthy research, switched to twosteps in 2008. I have not regretted this switch once – quite the opposite: there may be cheaper hosting providers, but I know from my own experience that their performance comes nowhere near that of twosteps. When I take over the maintenance of existing websites, it happens again and again that the problems were caused by a (budget) host, for example because it offers no malware scan or other basics, or runs outdated software versions – the total cost of fixing such problems when they occur is usually out of all proportion to the (supposedly) lower price. Ich entwickle seit über 20 Jahren Webseiten und Webapplikationen und bin nach langer Recherche im Jahr 2008 zu twosteps gewechselt. Diesen Wechsel habe ich bisher kein einziges Mal bereut, ganz im Gegenteil: es mag günstigere Hosting-Anbieter geben, dass deren Leistung aber bei weitem nicht an die von twosteps heranreicht, weiß ich aus eigener Erfahrung. Bei der Übernahme der Betreuung bestehender Webseiten kommt es immer wieder vor, dass die Probleme durch einen (Billig)Hoster verursacht wurden, da dieser z.B. keinen Malware-Scan oder andere Basics anbietet oder veraltete Software-Versionen im Einsatz hat - die Gesamtkosten für die Behebung beim Auftreten derartiger Probleme sind meist in keiner Relation zu den (vermeintlich) günstigeren Preis. Wer sich also um die Inhalte seiner Webseite und weniger um mögliche Probleme mit der Technik dahinter sowie deren Folgen kümmern möchte und auch noch großen Wert auf Sicherheit und Datenschutz legt, dem kann ich twosteps als Hosting Provider uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

I have been with twosteps since 2012. I had no idea how to create a homepage or anything like that. I always got the help I needed. And even when I asked the same question three times, it was always explained to me well. Even when support was not immediately available, I always got a call back. It is a good provider, and the value for money is good too. And the homepages are far better than the same old website builders from other providers. I can only recommend twosteps.

Ich bin nun seit 2012 bei twosteps. Hatte keine Ahnung wie man einen Homepage erstellt oder ähnliches. Ich habe immer die notwendige Hilfe erhalten die ich dafür gebraucht habe. Und wenn ich die Frage dreimal gestellt habe, trotzdem wurde es mir immer gut erklärt. Auch wenn der Support nicht immer direkt verfügbar gewesen ist, kam immer ein Rückruf. Es ist ein guter Anbieter, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ebenfalls gut. Und die Hompage sind alle mal besser als die immer gleichen Baukastensysteme von anderen Anbietern. Ich kann twosteps nur empfehlen.
